Canning Class

CANNING CLASS! Learn to preserve the harvest with this introductory class on making pickles using the water bath canning method. Class will cover basics of food preservation with an emphasis on safe practices. Students will get hands-on experience from start to finish and go home with a quart jar of pickles. All supplies provided. Due to space constraints, class will be held at an off-site location. Location information will be provided to students after registration. Saturday, July 27, 2024: Choose from morning (9 to noon) or afternoon session (2-5 pm). Cost is $35 and each session is limited to seven students.
